  3. you like old raggedy trucks worn-out equipment company will make you feel like a number you'll fit right in..
I don't think they bought a new tractor in the last 10 years..
they're one of those touch you go companies you might carve your niche and enjoy it or you might just hate it..

They talk a good game man but not feeling positive about them. I haven't drove in 2.5 years and had limited time before. What about Kreilkamp in Wisconsin? They are a refrigerated company also offering training.

  5. now crawl camp is an interesting one if you fit in from the beginning they're going to like you..
just know you're going to be hauling a lot and a lot and a lot of John Deere because even though they say they're in allenton right off of I-41 but drive about 12 miles west to where the Big John Deere horicon Factory is and they sit out there by all the warehouses...
they do a little bit of other freight but you will be running primarily East Coast out of Wisconsin you'll come out of the beer Town Milwaukee area headed for Jersey Massachusetts New Hampshire quite often a little bit of southeast..
they do a poop load of Philly..
so if you don't mind rolling outta cheesehead country out to the Eastern seaboard you'll like it with K.
they are the in-house carrier in the preferred carrier for John Deere horicon works..
but a lot of times do they do a lot of cheese that's why they got refers to you'll be doing a lot of grocery warehouse is out to the East Coast from cheesehead land.

Thanks for the info Kev. Sounds better than Equity for sure. One last one please...anything about D&D Sexton in Missouri? They seem really straight up.

  7. that's another one used to be a great company but honestly it's not what it used to be.. family-owned but not the same family atmosphere from 3 years ago..
they are one though if you don't whine and cry do your job take whatever they give you as lousy as it is is you can do okay there..
but just remember they're based out of Carthage Missouri just north of Joplin and their home base of Mane stuff comes right out of those caves and Joplin so you'll be in and out of those underground caves constantly hauling in and hauling out..
that in itself some people just don't like doing caves summer claustrophobic and flat-out can't go in there but some just don't like to go in there.
but basically what it boils down to is it's a family-owned Company still but it's not the family that you think of from 10 or 15 years ago it's the kids..
they do have forward-facing cameras and driver facing cameras there is a lot of nitpicking over there now where you really have to watch yourself that's one thing that has changed cuz they got hit a couple of times by. they're a good company but they're also a micromanaging company that will get on you if you're not doing your job and goofing off too much I know that cuz I've run into a couple of their drivers..
I'm not going to slam them I'm just going to simply say it's not the D&D Sexton it was from the nineties into the late 2000s.
they're getting many automatic transmissions now I do know that and their cascadia's..
but the company that Dean Sexton started in 1981is still the same as far as the core values they don't screw you out of your pay which is the main thing..
I believe they still offer training.
but as you and I both know the industry has changed and it hasn't been for the better and the bottom line simply is sometimes you want quality but you have to suffer with quantity..
and that in itself can change a company profile very quickly what do you start getting a lot of accidents and crashes you have to put your foot down and it's no more mr. nice guy..
but again if you do your job and you drive in a normal manner you don't give him a lot of grief they pretty much leave you alone and they'll keep you running good..

D LOOK and exACT driver Thank this.

Hard frickin decision Kev. D&D talking 1700.00 transition bonus & 6,000 1 year anniversary bonus, paid holidays, paid training, health ins. benefits, etc. idk about them driver facing cameras & micro managing someone to death even with the bonuses.

    D LOOK Thanks this.
