When I first started with Superior 11 years ago I met a guy who lived on his boat in the Tampa Clearwater area. He ran OTR out of the Georgia terminal just north of Jacksonville. He parked the truck at Lakeland That terminal is mostly local work.
Superior Carriers, my experience.

I live in Houston and I'm going to be starting CDL school in September and Superior is at the top of the list for companies that I'm considering.
A couple of questions I have:
1. Can someone give me a rough idea of what the regional runs are like out of the Pasadena terminal? Are they mostly out-and-back overnights or are you likely to stay out most of the week? I wouldn't mind staying out longer if the money is right, just curious how they run?
2. Can someone give a rough estimate between what the system/otr drivers get paid vs regional drivers? I understand system drivers are out 10-14 days typically which I wouldn't mind either again if the the pay is worthwhile? -
Can someone tell me what type of drug test you have to take at superior carriers. I quit smoking a month ago because i want to become a trucker. I will start cdl school next week .I just want to make sure im completely clean before i apply. I dont wanna fail a hair test.

When you say, " .....I quit smoking..." if you refer to cigarette or cigars you should be ok, no worries.
-
You do know if they use a hair follicle test it can go back 90 days

I took my test 2 years ago. Pasadena,Tx. And it was regular drug test. DOT. I pointed location cause it could be different by terminals which I doubt it. So good luck
