HMMM... sound like what I was making 8 years ago. It's not too bad, but again you have to get the miles to make it worth having.

Like the others said in essence, "If the miles are there."

I make more than that with 6.5 years driving and don't get extra for east coast or congestion and I'm a company driver. Plus my miles average 3000 miles a week, even in this "recession".

Its good if the miles back it up. I could be paying you .60 cpm but your only getting 500 mpw. Can be false advertisement if the miles are not there. Hopefully the work is there RonJL

Are we talking starting pay? If so then it's right. Or at least it is industry standards. I think drivers are worth more. But the didn't ask me:biggrin_255:

That's a Good Starting Rate . For the way the economy is.

I've been hearing from many drivers... the ones who have the higher mileage rates are getting less miles. And the ones who are getting much less per mileage are getting more miles in per week..

So I guess it evens itself out in all apsect from the companies.

Then again, there are many drivers getting a few cents cut off their rates too.! !

They don't want to quit, for fear of not being able to find and get in with another company.
