Yes Keep them. I not driven since Nov 7th 2000, but I still have mine. I can not pass the medical, but I have it.

I made the decision today and handed back my CDL. For every arguement I came up with I could'nt justify staying with it as i don't have the confidence now. It worries me at times driving a car and as I stated before, there was some damage done when my temperature hit 105 and the infection of the fluid surrounding the brain and spine. I have'nt had one day where I was'nt feeling off colour so for my sake and more importantly, the potential for loss of life of others as my reactions have slowed down and concentration does lapse now all too often.
Also I have had to look at if any damage was done to my heart with my blood pressure being at 210/156 when I was sick that has'nt shown up yet. It's been a long road for recovery but I'm still far from 100%.
I'm not regretting my decision - it's better for everyone in the long run - I'm looking down that road at "maybe!" the worse can happen!

You gotta have something to fall back on in case of hard times.

Aussie... I suffer with some of the same ailments you have tiredness aches pains it came from lymes disease.. Something that hides in you that you may have recieved from a tick...I was bit and it took a months to find out what I really had. They thought memmingitus, lupus you name it they thought I had it...Once I was tested for lymes disease and they put me on antibiotics for about 2 months life was better now I only have bouts with it when I am over stressed or have not been taking care of my self. I guess what I am trying to tell you is keep your licence you may find that there is something else going on and it could change if you get it under control if you haven't been tested for lymes I would get the test since you live in VA there was a lot going on about 7 years ago it goes undetected or missed diginosed often...
