Hey everyone I'm fairly new to the trucking world and need some help. I have purchased a 1999 KW T800, but it has some issues. The first is the High/Low switch on the gear shift has stopped working. The second is the turn signal switch has lost its connection and the prongs on the bottom of the turn signal selector or bent. The final thing is the airbag height adjustment valve on the rear of the frame is broken and not working. My question on the airbag valve switch is how many different models are out there? Can someone please help with these issues so that I can get this truck up and going all other things or fine just those couple issues. Please help thanks in advanced.

John, make sure there is air going to the shifter knob. Do you hear anything when you flip the lever? Check your air lines and the air supply to the transmission. Call kenworth and get the part numbers for the leveling valve and turn signal switch. Then you can do some research and maybe find parts online. Also places like napa and oreillys have heavy duty truck parts. Also check places like Betts truck parts. If the dealer is the only option then go to the dealer. I hate paying dealer prices when there are other alternatives.

I hate paying dealer prices but I hate looking around for stuff even more. Wife wants to go 'shopping', I'll drive her there and wait in the car. The only thing that gets me is the disparity in pricing. MHC Kenworth in Des Moines is higher than MHC in Knoxville.
