sense Swift has 16,000 tractors, they should have some government or bases to pickup and deliver to so should i get a TWIC card

Buffalo, WY. Headed to Seattle (from Omaha), took "the long way" so I could stop here, do laundry, and have a steak. Missoula tomorrow night, North Bend Sunday, then have a 7:00 am delivery Monday in Seattle.

I have never needed a TWIC card. If you don't have it they will escort you in and out, or you will not be sent those loads in the first place.

I don't even bother with the Hazmat endorsement anymore. Swift does not pay enough on those loads to make it worth it, and I get plenty of miles without it.

    Burnsville, MN at home.

There is a serious lightning storm going on.
At least 70 degrees of my view is nothing but cloud lightning, and there is no thunder at all. Just a fantastic light show. It has lasted for the past few hours. No rain, just a warm humid night with the clouds lighting up. Pretty cool.

    Slc terminal.
    Got the bit service done.
They said the repair job to airlines that was ripped off is a d.o.t. violation since it's sitting on fuel tanks. I said it doesn't with the trailer lol.
So after spending all day in the prequall lane only to say it has to go to the body shop to get the plate replaced. It opens tomorrow. At least he replaced the valve on the trailer that got tore off.
One guy in front of me said he had everyrhi g stolen out of his truck at the body shop so think I am gonna camp out and watch my truck while there

My habit is to hang pretty close when my truck is in the shop, and to notice who is working on it.
So far I have had nothing stolen or disturbed at any shop, but thanks for the warning about SLC.
