    Here''s one i just thought of:

    Do not(in order to convieniently dispose of it) pour rotten orange juice down the exhaust stack just to see what would happen.

    Trust me on this one.

    Wow! What a valuable thread!
    Reminds me of "back in the day" when "Hands" would gather up at the TRUCK STOPS and pass along everything to everybody. We didn't have Travel Centers then.
    I haven't done this but might consider it when all else fails. If on ice and can't get traction I was told that if you poured a gallon of Clorox on the drives, they would heat up enough to get off the ice. To me it might damage the tires but was assured it wouldn't. Just passing it along.

    No, i'm just saying don't pour any liquids down the exhaust stack just to see what would happen.

    2) i think kitty litter would be better for traction.

    wow guy,im so impress.Those are dfinitely some helpful tips ,in fact i have had to use a few,but some of the snow tip didnt dawn on me until stuck at pilot that mess of a parkin lot up in shelby,mt,off i15n:biggrin_2553:.

    What GPS can anyone recommend to new driver.... i know i need the atlas but the gps is nice to have especially one that is trucker friendly

    From what I've heard they all are iffy at best. Garmin has just come out with a brand new model just recently which from what I've heard, works pretty well.
