Holy crap, it looks like he almost made it off the end lol. At least he used the ramp instead of killing a bunch of people.

All the debris is on the right side of the road. Whaddya think the chances are that the truck driver had his right indicator on and wasn't allowed over?
    I'll offer up this scenario:
Truck driver finds his brakes faded and takes hammer lane to avoid hitting cars in right lane. Some guy named Richard Head says, "ain't no truck gonna pass me, by god!" and comes up on driver's right side even though there's an indicator flashing in his face. Truck driver, instead of trying to hold on until the next gravel pit, decides Richard has just made himself expendable and heads for the escape. Richard now needs a new vehicle and truck driver needs clean undies. Assuming, of course, said driver had panties on to begin with....

I was wondering that too. Looks like he may have had to make a choice to mow over one car instead of continuing out of control down the hill.

I wonder whether folks decided that pulling over to park in front of the runaway truck ramp was a good idea?

I came over there Thursday, is very plain to see why there are accidents, between the tankers
running the hammer lane down the hills, to the locals loaded up on something, besides ignorance, like running a gauntlet any more use to be an enjoyable drive

I'd expect a major enforcement blitz by Colorado state patrol here soon after these accidents that have been happening. .
