Great truck. Still on the fence about an auto. I had a choice, I chose it though. I try and stay out of big city rush hours, but in slow traffic, auto rules for sure . With the cruise and radar thingy. Just sit and pay attention. No footwork

But it is a pretty basic stock truck

I should start a new thread I guess. Year has been done. Been too lazy to do numbers. Apologies. Rates were better last year anyway. I’m still making money, just not as much as last year.

I’m averaging $1.80 to the truck all miles. Mostly legal easy loads though. I’m barely breaking a sweat. Except this week. I’m near Laredo now, so a rough few days.

Truck has 27k miles. Great so far. I would rather have a manual, but this paccar and paccar auto trans is pretty dang good for an auto. It just gets stronger. My first auto, so I have no comparison. But it is still the only trans designed strictly for auto if I’m not mistaken. So I’m guessing it’s better than any conversation tranny

I had nearly 1 month with no check after I switched to this new one. Went home for 3 weeks and then a holiday week. I dug out quickly though. Took 3 weeks to start saving again though. My reserve fund is just at 4K now. Haven’t touched it yet.

    Loads have been decent

Truck is great. About 36k miles. Almost first service time.

Still averaging around $1.80 to the truck. Not the greatest, but it is profitable. All standard loads. Have another O/D next week. This week and next week I just paid bills for truck with little for me. Off last Tuesday till next Tuesday. Delivered last Monday and will del next Thursday. I might get a shorty and make something next week.

But the loads have been decent despite the market. I had back to back 3k weeks to me the first 2 weeks of August followed by a 800 week and nothing really this last week or next week. But I’ll break even at least.

But I don’t live week to week, so it’s all good. Spent some time in Clearwater Friday seeing Winter the dolphin
