I have been driving for a local flatbed company . The pay just isn't here any more. So its time to go over the road , i have been looking reading LOT of post about TMC .Maverick, Melton and Swift. I like what i read about Maverick but i need a truck with a window in the sleeper lol. Tmc has nice trucks but the miles isn't there. I was with my bother that worked for Melton and he had about 2300 miles a week but that was like 4 years ago lol. i just looking for a good company that has ok miles i know it's not the best time for trcuking over the road but but anything is better then 200 dollars a week, i have lids to feed hahahah . SO people plz try and help me out i just need to find a good company and a truck with a window in the sleeper hahah

thanks and be safe out there drivers

Maverick doesn't have miles right now either. Look at McElroy as well. Don't know about windows, I think they are Internationals.

Then there's CT out of Savannah GA as well to check out. Pay scale wasn't great there if I remember correctly, but within reason. They drive Macks.

With the slowdown of construction and the economy in general, flatbed is slow all over. Everyone is feeling it this year. Not a great time to jump into this segment if you're looking to run a lot.
