Uh, what did you do to get fired? Were they just pickin' on ya'?

 

Man I hope all the other companys out there don't get wind of this. Sound like a money maker. Hire drivers for 30 to 60 days, let them build up some money on comdata card, then fire em, keep the cash on comdata, and the last week or 2 pay. Just keep the drivers coming in, then roll them later, the cash keeps coming in. That way don't have to pay any benefits either, what a plan. Bet they even have a secret buisness model for that too.

 

Something does not sound right

 

Did K&B lose the account in Macon? They used to hire here but I don't see it listed on their website anymore.

 

Yeah I got a call from K&B and I know that it takes approx 24 to 36 hours to run all your paperwork through your previous employers and such. They called me, had not had me sign anything to release documents or anything. Told me that they would run application and to call them in an hour. They called me back in 1/2 hour told me I was hired that I could either fly our of St. Louis or bus out of Quincy, IL and be ready for orientation on Monday morning. NOTE TO SELF! There is NO way that is going to happen. Did a search on them and OMG the stuff I found. Sorry for you problems!

Mustang, I'll back Billy on K&B. They run 2 or 3 orientaions a week, they'll fire you if you fart in their truck without permission. The company is a revolving door. They've ruined so many with bad DAC's that they sould probably have stock in USIS. There is an entire forum here on K&B... read it and weep, don't read it and... sucker!

BTW - I never got my last 2 wks pay either.

 

One other thing, this company will nail you to the wall when other companies try to verify your past employment with them.
