I've never laid eyes on the gentleman, but he has helped me numerous times and I consider him a friend. It will be my honor should I get the chance someday to meet Wore out and Doc.

 

I’m keeping my eye on that Doc fella though. Don’t need no leg humping or tire pissin’

If I think Wore is in the area I’ll be sure to carry some Gummy Bears and some treats for our four legged friend.

It is a straight 6 but the engineers built it at a 30 degree slant so they could build it with a longer stroke and end up with a larger size displacement without the engine poking through the hood. Which is why it's got the nickname Leaning Tower of Power. BMW is famous for their straight 6 now and it's an awesome engine but if you look at it you can see it's used the same trick to maximize the space under the hood. Slanted. Just like Mopar.
