Hopper, Dump O/O's & Drivers

    no wheathauler it is all dry corn,chicken feed and base mix used to make the chicken feed we also run wheat to a grain elavator in fort worth when they start harvesting that also

    Well that's good. Wouldn't be to hard to get out then. What has wheat harvest been like there.

    Hey Pharm was just checking out eclipse's website and they say you have to have 3 yrs exp OTR or 3 yrs local, I know from reading the forums on here that you don't have that exp. so are they not strict on the exp. thing or what gives?

    Well actually i couldn't find a website for them I got this info off of everyo/ojob. you know. Thanks!

    So what about the exp. thing do you have to have 3 yrs.?

    No but they have alot of great drivers ready to haul for them. They are probably just in no hurry to contract with anyone new. I'll bet they ignore that rule if you have 6 months experience. Can't say for sure, though.

    I see no mention of the experience, and it's never come up. My broker knew I was new when I first contacted him.

    I am from ga,and have lots of friends that haul hoppers here.They all pull one way for a company called Ampro out of gainsville ga.,then they come back with lime,corn, beans,etc. but not sure who for.If you are ever around ga. you might look at Ampro,all my friends seem to be doing o.k. with them.They are a direct company not brokers.Good luck

    I was hauling today to a ethanol plant I go to. Feeling pretty good until another driver said the elevator had cut rate to plant. It turns out now making what I made in 2004 going to this plant. I'm pretty sure my expenses haven't come down.

    Made a mistake should have asked what it paid when they gave me loads. I just figured it was the same as always.
