Those bench seats Sure made it easier to get a little Road Relief from the girlfriend back in the day

I had one in my old 72 Dodge stretch cab pickup that would lay flat.

Had a Lot of Fun in that ole truck.

Yep. Loved my wood cabinets in my 2017 Western Star. Looked at a brand new Volvo and couldn't take the plasctic cabinets.

Western star keeps the drawers light by having a heavy duty but light plastic molded drawer bucket that the wood front bolts too.

Dont have the link...just search for 12in thick memory foam mattress. Best way to cut it is with an electric carving knife. Got mine at a thrift store for $5

I don’t like the plastic Volvo cabinets either and the hardware is garbage. Just like a European car. Crappy hinges and latches and the plastic cracks.

I’m going to rebuild mine out of birch ply. I’ve done a bunch of van interiors out of it. Looks great, light and strong.

Yep love working with that stuff. I have a source for Cutoffs from a manufacture that runs 100s of sheets of 1/2 inch through c and c mills all day.

Makes framing up stuff look like Art

I have a PC, monitor, fridge, just bought a microwave & electric stove i can run off the inverter since i plan to start eating waaayyyyy healthier now and its waiting for me at home, and i have homemade orange blind covers for the windows to not have the sleeper curtain slid and make the place seem bigger. But the best thing that has made this sleeper so much better is my orange shag carpet to match with my blinds(Its my favorite color & in an ALL GRAY interior it makes it seems less dull/boring). I pull a flatbed and as i hit the driver seat i slip out my steel toes and NEVER put them in sleeper since i dont want dirt on the carpet. So as soon as my feet touch that carpet after a long day aahhhhhh :). Christmas time will also install some flooring in the cab area and buy me that orange steering wheel, and shift knob ive been eyeing for a while now

Don't know if I qualify for this post, so feel free to ignore me.

Had lots of stuff in the past 2 trucks I leased to make it livable.
Carpeting in the sleeper, truck fridge, 84qt chest freezer, microwave, crock pot, electric skillet, waffle maker, tv, laptop, small vacuum cleaner.

Now that I am buying a truck I can do much more.
For starters, I plan to put shelving and cabinets on the upper bunk for easier appliance storage.
Will probably remove the passenger seat and leave the space empty, my first job as a company driver had me in a truck without a passenger seat, loved it, could basically just walk right in and out of the truck.

I'm thinking of doing the same. I see more and more guys with a fridge strapped where the passenger seat was. I have this holdup that I'll have a rider (wife/kids) but so far that happens about once a year. That seat takes up a bunch of space in your cab.

I just bought an 8” memory foam matress for home. Wal mart rollback, Lol $270. It’s plenty thick, sleeps great. Getting one for the Truck, next. Very surprised, as I planned on cutting it down to a full size for Truck,If it wasn’t very good. But I highly recommend the one from Walmart, can’t go wrong for the price.
