This is about the time of year we'll start seeing people selling raspberries from Bear Lake just north of us. Between that and the Olathe sweet corn and Rocky Ford cantaloupe a guy doesn't know which way to go.

 

No sense fretting over it, just grab some of all of em

I probably wouldn't have stopped if it was an adult selling them.
But when i see a little kid putting in a serious effort to try something, I always support them. It came to $16, i gave her a $20 and told her the extra was a tip.

 

Cherokee is a sweet plane. The Bonanza at the airport my Dad instructed had a real nice Bonanza. Before he purchased we flew the airports Piper Cub. They were so small. The day he sold the 172 the new owner took off and crashed into the woods at the end of the runway. We were all in shock. The pilot was alone and ok. I’ll look up the Encore I’m unfamiliar, I have not flown in years.

 

Huckleberry season up north, bing cherries from Marsing, and Utah peaches; I love this time of year!

 

I gotta time it right. Cantaloupe and watermelon is in southern Colorado, ready in a few weeks. Olathe sweet corn is in Western Colorado and still a month or so out. Bear lake raspberries are going to be ready anytime now. .

Them burnt out lights is the least of their problems. Lots of shady characters there.

 

A very good Freind who I drove with back in the early 90’s owned this car. He’s gone now unfortunately, hate to see them sell it.
