Now why in the world would you crawl in the trailer? LOL

Hubby ONLY crawls in if he has to sweep it out, and only from the bottom. He has a broom with the extension on it. You can buy the handles that extend at any farm supply or hardware store.

He just got a set of vibrators, so unless something is stuck hard in there, I highly doubt he will be crawling the rail any longer.

Wally, you going to David City???

Some drivers carry push brooms with them to sweep the grain toward the hopper hole. If it's really bad crawl under hopper get inside hopper and sweep out. Not real fun when it is wet. Usually elevator has a broom but not always. As you have said some do have ropes inside. Of course the old favorite rubber mallet on knock rails. I have head of people sliding down hopper into trap, wouldn't be fun.

As far as other products like Pharm and BHW haul not to sure. Heard of using rods but would need some input from other hopper people.

I forgot about vibrators. BHW have you used them yet? Was curious how they worked for him.

Seem to be a lot of people wanting to get on with Esclipse. Didn't know they were that popular.

for me it's something differant.tired of freight was going to pull end dump till the freakshow i was going to rent the trailer from couldent figure what he was doing and as i was leaving to head up there he tells me the trailer weighs 16-18 thousand pounds.it has a 1/2 in steel floor. I could only get 21 tons on:biggrin_2551: so i just had to take the wetline off and go to NE.my betterhalf thinks i just want to go hang out with rob lol Walt

Yeah, that's way too heavy a trailer. Well, good luck hanging out with Pharm should be interesting. At this rate half the forum will be with Esclipse shortly.

He LOVES THEM. LOL But it still doesn't work on the wet stuff, gotta shovel that. :biggrin_25525:

Yup, you'll need a dead blow. Hubby got his at the swap meet cheap. New they are about $110. :biggrin_2552:

I'd offer you hubbies, but as soon as I did, he'd need it. He hasn't even banged the side of his new trailer once with it. LOL
