Man that is cool to see how that is done. I guess your table is flat enough to trust? That’s what worries me most about building one. I know my garage floor isn’t flat or level.

If the KW needs a new home someday I may know a buyer in Hendersonville NC that will entertain your asking price...cke, Feedman, Crusader66 and 12 others Thank this.

You’ll find that Cummins will love to wind out. It took me a while to figure it out with mine, but she’s happy screaming up a hill at 1800 or so. Like James says, don’t lug it. Older N14’s were known to have block fretting issues and I believe it’s caused by lugging. Not to mention EGT’s will stay cooler if ya keep her wound up.cke, Feedman, Crusader66 and 13 others Thank this.

If you stay above 1500, 1600 you will not see main cap fretting like everyone complains about with a N14, and no extended oil changes. Oils cheap, keep it fresh.
My BK Ddec4 I keep over 1600rpm loaded. @OLDSKOOLERnWV has seen weight slips and pencil fuel milages of mine.
Everyone will tell me I shouldn't.cke, Feedman, Crusader66 and 10 others Thank this. -
It should be stamped. I had to use the flash on my camera and take a pic kinda at an angle so the flash would cast shadows in the stamped letters to read it all.cke, Feedman, Crusader66 and 10 others Thank this.

Was looking at places to put an egt probe earlier. Looks like theres a bung in the down pipe, would there or before the turbo be better? What range should I stay in? Coming from the diesel pickup world I know most measured before so my idea of acceptable range is way different.
That's something else I was curious about. What kind of interval am I looking for? 15k? Less? More?cke, Feedman, Crusader66 and 9 others Thank this. -
It is stamped. It's got cheapo epoxy that they shot all over the frame and didnt care to cover the data plate.cke, Feedman, Crusader66 and 9 others Thank this.
