Stay fit while flat bedding !

    Most low fat products end up adding sugar to try to make up the loss of flavor that comes by reducing fat.

    Light yogurt has more sugar in it to make up for the lack of flavour from the extra fat. Whole grains, full fat dairy (unflavoured), low sugar fruits/vegtables and lean meats, now THAT's a diet.

    But yes, flatbed's a good way to stay in shape. Honestly, I really miss it. There was a certain challenge to keeping complex loads on the trailer and packing it nice and neat under a tarp. Then moving it 1500 miles down the road and not even having to tighten a single strap.

    It really is THAT simple. Fad diets are a bunch of crap. Eat a sensible amount of good, whole foods with some daily activity and you're golden! I dropped from 230 to 185 from diet changes alone. With regular cardio/lifting I dropped to 150 at my lowest. Added some muscle to bring me up to 165.

    There's protein in dairy products, just not that great of protein unless it's added whey powder.

    Your body will eat thru muscle and cut your metabolism before it lets go of your "reserve" fat if you lead a sedentary lifestyle.

    Because we still have hunter-gatherer instinct and subconscious.

    If your body sees you're eating less and not moving much, it'll figure you're hunkered down starving in some cave waiting out a bad season until harvest or spring or good hunting or whatever... and go into energy saving low metabolism starvation mode


    Now if you EXERCISE and eat a high fat, high protein diet, the body mistakes this for "successful hunting activity" and optimizes you for lean, muscle building, high metabolism mode.
