Just having fun out here (safely conscious) running loads doing the trucking thing.
Recently ran Laredo to Daytona beach FL then Jacksonville FL to Salt Lake city UT. Working on a 34 reset and already have my reload from Salt Lake yard to Lexington SC.
I won my June mile off competition! Yay! Got a couple of tshirts and my truck turned up to 70 on cruise 73 in passing mode. Will see how that goes.
Also got a sticker on my truck making it official lol..

Been here at ShipEX over a year now and still enjoying it. Hit the 12000 mile target for June as well. Every year our bonus pay goes up so that was an extra hundred on top of the 200 productivity bonus plus 120 safety bonus $421 total. Not bad, if i can hit the 13000 mile next month that's a $900 productivity plus safety. 13500 miles is a $1200 bonus etc...so like i said before it's not always attainable but i managed to hit the 12000's range in 3 months out of the last 6. Happy with that. This month got off to a good start so should hit it again or higher.
I just stay safe, consistent and run the loads they give me best i can. Communicate with the DM a lot, especially if i see something that would mess up my productivity or problems with pickup & delivering loads on time and it usually smooths out.Lonesome, Finfn1372, mushroom1464 and 2 others Thank this. -
Well this month mile goal is taking a dive real quick. Waited 24hours to pickup up a load out of ID to SC then ended up doing a 34 to deliver it because they wouldn't take me early. Then did some Dead head miles chasing loads that ended up canceling at last min. 3 of them in a row!
Now finally on a load heading to Colorado only to get there a day early and probably do another 34 because they are closed on the weekends and won't be unloading me till Monday... all total for this week will be 1600 miles. Yuck! Well this is where salery comes in that's.72 CPM for that week but the monthly bonus will be minimal. It's the ups and downs in this business is why i like the salery. True it is frustrating not to getting the big bonus pay day but i get the solid pay check every week so it evens out for me.motocross25, mushroom1464, Vic Firth and 3 others Thank this. -
I’ve been curious about ShipEx, and have been looking for a better opportunity. You might have mentioned this somewhere in the thread and I missed it, but what does that 1154 come out to after taxes every week?

I live in a non state tax Nevada so it works out for me. I like the non stress of sitting for two hours and not moving. Plus there are bonuses above and beyond the salary.
