No, not yet. They’re waiting on me to bring in my new med card long form. From there from what I understand is I gain access online to fill out all the paperwork. I anticipate Monday the 12th though as a start date.

Man it’s been a crazy week so far. Behind schedule because we had to wait on a a team that was 3 hours late. SMH and then the traffic is just horrible. It’s like these for wheelers don’t have a job anymore. They are just constantly on the road. But other than the normal accidents and traffic on a regular basis same ol stuff. Hopefully I will find out what my bid will be next week. Hey fun fact for you guys. My start date with AAA Cooper was April Fools Day. So that’s my Anniversary date. Man when I was told that was my hard start date I was afraid of showing up and them playing with me.

I was under the impression I could start whenever I became available. Hopefully they don't push it out too far, I'm ready to go within 10 days. I gave notice I was looking over 2 weeks ago and the ball has been rolling fast this week. I'm going to take my DOT physical friday morning before I go to my current job and turn in my long form, so I'm thinking I'll find out definitively then.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this.

You gave notice that you was looking over two weeks ago but did you tell them when your last day was going to be? That’s the kicker. My last job I gave them a week notice. Cooper gave a hard date to start and I went to my last job and told them Friday would be my last day. I don’t do two week notice especially in the trucking industry. I put it like this. Yes you don’t want to burn bridges but also do they give you two week notice when they want to fire you? And if I’m leaving a job chances are I’m leaving them for a reason. I have never went back to any company that I have ever worked for. Just my two sense. But they won’t give you a hard start until they have that medical card. The sooner you get that done the sooner you can start. If they are making you take a new physical then that’s what they are waiting for. So the ball is in your court my friend. So hurry up so you can pick up some more city freight that needs to go out to increase my miles lolMatt1924 and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this.
