Just wanted to stop in here and update everyone that might come here for information on VTC. I parted ways with Virginia and seriously regret it!! This was one of the best companies I have ever been associated with. I fell for lies from another company that does Heavy Haul and was seriously disappointed! VTC treated me well, kept me in top notch equipment, kept me busy, paid me well and never micro managed me. When my father passed and I was on my way to Talladega (Lincoln) they offered to fly me home that day no matter the cost and paid me! When my SIL passed they sent me straight home. When my daughter needed surgery the deadheaded me home from Brunswick Passing by 2 loads. When my brother had 2 strokes they got me home. Most companies I've heard of couldn't care less about drivers and get tired of hearing about personal issues. If you are with a company that takes care of you like this STAY THERE!! Appreciate what you have!! Most couldn't care less about you or your family!! If anyone has any questions about VTC I have nothing bad to say. I did for a quick minute because of some minor mistakes made by office personnel but they made it right and I was completely stupid for leaving and regret it big time!!

you could always go back there bigbob. i’m sure they would welcome you with open arms. i think VTC is a good company too. i don’t however regret leaving cause i’m home way more now and love it but i do miss all the benefits that they offer. but #### sure don’t miss running the dreaded northeast

I can relate to what you're going through Bob. Virginia is a good company. I worked for them for about 2 months, I had to quit because we had miscommunication about the home time policy. Michelle (new dispatch) explain to me; 52 hr or 6 days. But I was then quickly corrected and was told to work 6 days no matter what.

Now I've been off for about 3 months. Scrambling looking for a job. Now I'm faced with OTR position. Not sure if the rate is as good as VTC.

But with VTC, running out of Baltimore. And live in Philly. I was home almost every night! But the fact that I'm only 26. And was told that I have to work 6 days for the rest of my life? Scares the crap out of me. I would make 2k a week but what's the point if you're gonna go home with 1300 anyway? Why do I wanna work an extra day so that I will be taxed on higher bracket it's silly.

Anyway.. Anyone knows anything about LNR? I'm confused weather to go with LNR or Moore.

    BigBob410 and 59EX Thank this.
