Where is everyone #5

You won’t find it in a text book or google.

 

Tons, but I've not heard of many positive companies (lots of "get the job done first, then fix the problem later") and the MOT target gravel haulers worse than Punjabis in southern Ontario.

I'm out of Winnipeg, but I don't think car hauling is for me. I like the "put it on/in the trailer and forget about it for a couple days" kind of work. I've heard it's really good money though.

I'm probably going to get back into deck work. I know what I'm doing there, I'm really good at it, and if I can average 2700-3000 miles a week with a load and unload on either end, I'll be making amazing money.

 

Or never. I don't feel deprived for not seeing it.

Some of them pull out of the plant here too..... they called me a scab couple years ago lol. And here I am a dues paying member of IUOE LOL!!!’

 

C'mon. Tell the truth. You don't really care about rates just as long as the route takes you to Nelson Brothers right ?

 

Just got a call from a guy wanting to know if I owned a coal bucket, said he has 40 homes to tear down and haul off but can’t find no one with a bucket......

 

Yeah you are out there a good ways. Not sure how good car haulin'is out there. My last company went in and out of Oakville. I know they are always begging for drivers to get FastPass. I imagine you could get some miles out that way. But if you wanted to be home for family if you ever get the notion you could make a great living and not run far. Good luck in whatever you do. I just learned a valuable lesson about going with a company and getting lied to so I definitely know what you're going thru. I kind of, in the back of my mind, knew better and did my research but it still turned out to be a sheet show!

 

Need to clean that lens. Lotsa specks on it. Can't see whatever you're telling us to look for.
