I’m sitting at my shipper for the morning, bored and was tooling around on Trucker Path when I saw a boat icon. I don’t recall seeing this before, and when clicked on all it says is “Dock Status : No Information Available” What the heck? I know nothing about boating and less about marinas, but I could see if you were looking for a marina to get to, but A) all the icons are landlocked and B) why even have it on a truckers app? If anyone knows anything about this feel free to indulge me.

    bzinger and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

Fron the What's New in the play store. Expect it's the first point.

    1. New POI – the Docks feature is now live! Easily predict time spent on loading, unloading and waiting at destinations.
    2. Can't be bothered to register for Truckerpath? No problem, now you can easily log in with Facebook or Google.
    3. We've made estimated time of arrival more accurate!
    4. Now you can upload photos with your POI review.
    5. Create your Driver profile for more jobs opportunities
    6. See Trucks and Trailers for sale on our new Used Equipment section.

    D.Tibbitt and motocross25 Thank this.

So their brilliant idea for a truck dock is an icon of a boat? Whatever.

I love Trucker Path but that's just stupid. They gonna add an airplane icon where there's a passing lane too?

Ok good then it’s not just me. After @ZVar posted it made sense. But that was not the first thing to come to my mind. Lol I was thinkin like ports or boat slips with availability. I was way off.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

That would've been my guess too but that's downtown Memphis. There are no boat docks there, just a few river boat docks down on the river a couple blocks down. I grew up there.

Truckerpath is gettinf out of hand. Im driving down the road in an unfamiliar area all mytrip plans have gone to hell i need to see if its any truckstops nearby, trying to x out of the 15 ads that pop up or all the other bs they put on the front screen is incredibly annoying. , not to mention does it hurt to have a nighttime mode on it?

Id say if that feature is for dock times, that sounds pretty cool , but lets be honest theres nothing we can do about waiting. What difference does it make an 8hr unload time is the same whether truckerpath tells u or not.

86scotty, bzinger, motocross25 and 2 others Thank this.
