The truck in question looks to me like an original 1 owner truck. And if that N14 or it looks like an N14 has been rebuild I buy that all day long. Unless it's a 444 which are a very special engine that many people hate.
Bonus fact pre 97 trucks don't need abs system lights, or DOT reflective tape in the corners of bunk rear.

Well to each their own.
Buy it and drive it.
Don't come back here whining about the money pit if you do.
I warned you already.Opendeckin, FlaSwampRat and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
The guy who owns it told me he has close to $55K in it. I have a video of it with him doing a walk-around and it is just as clean under it as it is inside of it. Sounds really nice too. The only reason he's selling it is because his wife hates him being gone for a few days.exhausted379 and Intothesunset Thank this.

I be back “whining” when I get my newer emissions crap engine, not by choice. “Only because the CARB Nazi is forcing us to do so. And that’s at the end of this year. So..... the saga continues....... My old soldi iron 1994 379 Cat 3406E has been the best truck I ever owned. Only has let me stranded “one” due to the stock turbo exploded(over a million on it)in the 12 years I’ve owned it.exhausted379, Hulld, Intothesunset and 2 others Thank this.

His wife hates him because all their money is wrapped up in that truck in which he’s not making any money with.
I understand the whole older truck and having a nice hood aspect. It’s a nice idea and many make it work or do jobs in which mpg doesn’t matter. For me I’m investing in making my operation more efficient to help offset the lower rates and be one of the companies that makes it. So, just take into account you may spend $300 to $400 more per week in fuel then say a modern new truck.BoostedTeg, gentleroger, Gsm and 4 others Thank this.
