Glad it wasn’t any worse, still hate ya got stoved up!! And they think Trucking is easy!

Came home from from school thinking my right wrist was sprung. That night it hurt something fierce, swelled up 1/2 again big as it should be, and couldn’t hold it still long enough to sleep. Uncle Lester told me I just needed more work, and that’s what he gave me too!! Next day after lunch a teacher realized I had a problem! Sh made the principle call the house and tell my kinfolk I needed a Dr...... long story short I had busted 2 bones in my right wrist. Dr. Put a cast all the way up to my elbow, when I went back for the 2nd cast the Dr. ask why the section of cast was missing?!! I wore it off sitting wood I told him, he about freaked out lol. So you got a bone busted in your wrist and a bone busted in your thumb and you been splitting wood, why?!! Uncle Lester made me! 2nd cast went up to my thumbnail, couldn’t grab the axe handle no more then. But the damage was already done! I have limited use of my right wrist now......

I know ya gotta work, but let it Heal up!!

Guess my getting hamburgers from the mess hall is long gone.

One of the young guys went to Mexico and not to a tourist trap. He's out in the weeds no electricity. His grandmother is turning 90. So I'm covering for him this week and next.

@old iron you need to phone a friend if that gets to bothering you. My biggest fear is doing what you have just done.
I've slipped and tripped over H beams and the likes. But no long distance 13' transitions. Dang...... Just looking at the arm ouch....

You will be just fine. I don't care what truck someone buys there are bugs to work out and every truck will have its quirks. Takes a while to learn and gain confidence in the truck. Hang in there and you will eventually get to the end.
