It’s a sticker people who don’t live near the ocean put on their cars and trucks so people think their ocean people. It’s a sure sign they aren’t ocean people.

So is it, first do no harm.
Or, first do no harm unless baby needs breast implants, or you owe the bookies, or you need that five million dollar spread to feel good about yourself?FlaSwampRat, MartinFromBC, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this. -
200 pills inst wrong for a saturation drug. 240 is the correct amount for a person having 2 pills every 6 hours 4 times daily. Or 8 pills a day on a 30 day month. Tho now to get the pills, patients have to undergo a $400 test not covered by insurance. Part of the way states are clamping down on abusers. If a person having the drug test comes back positive for the other drugs they are denied.

I’m not claiming to know much about big pharma and doctors. I’m sure what I know is from movies or the random article in a liberal sided news outlet.
The shear number of articles may not refute your statement that Doctors aren’t paid by pharma...but it doesn’t absolve them either.
From the Washington Post:
“In 2012, the pharmaceutical industry spent $24 billion marketing its premium branded drugs to health-care professionals — eight times the amount it spent on advertising to consumers. In recent years, a growing segment of the medical community has spoken out against the industry’s inordinate efforts to influence doctors. Since 2006, a number of teaching hospitals have enacted policies that restrict or ban visits from pharmaceutical representatives in hopes of limiting the industry’s influence. And last month, the California Senate passed a billthat would ban drug companies from giving gifts to doctors.”
So maybe not “pay”, but gifts.
I don’t know. This is definitely one of those topics I will remove myself from since I’d rather be happy than try to prove a point I’m not 100% sure I’d. I’ll let people smarter than me argue about it.FlaSwampRat, dwells40, MartinFromBC and 1 other person Thank this. -
