To me, the W900 is kind of the Holy Grail of the truck world. It's basically been the same tried and true look for a long, long time.

I know, I know, there will be those that will say the Pete 379 didn't really change. But they don't make a 379 anymore.

To me, you don't change or infringe on the W900. You either retire the look, or keep building it, as was done for years. But you don't give it the 'aero meets classic' look.

The 389 isn't much different than the 379, you paint one of each the exact same way, put the same stacks, visor, and headlights on and take the DEF tank off the 389 and you won't hardly be able to tell the difference.

The radiator is not narrower than the W900L, it’s larger. W990 uses the same cooling module as the W900B, W900B hood is taller and wider than the W900L as is the W990. Had to make room for the big radiator.

Ps. Not trying to incite a my hood is bigger than your hood contest.

Comfort is excellent from ride, seating position and leg room, quietness and even visibility looking out over the hood is pretty good. I’m one who enjoys the looks, but the comfort from the ride and interior is hands down the best I’ve ever experienced.

I think it's cool, wouldn't want to pay for it ( over $200g's yet?) Kind of reminds me of the old P57 "Mormon" truck I drove once.
