I am happy to say i will be quitting this #### whole this week for a union forklift position job. This is by far one of the most screwed up mismanaged outfits i have ever worked for in my life. From the upper management to the account managers to the bubble gum mechanics this place is a disaster. They treat u like a complete piece of #### and constantly ask u to run illegal or work for ridiculously low wages. The equipment is a accident waiting to happen and if u like sitting at a scumbag terminal constantly for the same truck repair this is the place for u. I have not came in contact with one national freight employee (drivers excluded) worth a ####. This company should be on the top of the crap list ahead of jb and swift. I worked for jb before and national freight makes jb look like heaven.
Stay away from national freight inc

Stay away from NFI !! Worked for them 3 days ,1st day showed up at 9 am as requested to take a load (which should be able to turn,as told)and they gave a truck # and trailer #.Found that ok, get everything hooked up and pull up to fuel island for fuel. Can't get fuel ,not recognized as employee.Pull away from island and park truck. Go inside to dispatch desk and ask what is going on ,can't get fuel.Noone from the day before (which left there at 2 pm, so plenty of time to get things ready for next day start))put any info in the comp. Gate time for that load was 8 am. Its now 9:45 am. Late out the gate first day . NOT GOOD 2nd day on the island all loads delivered on time and heading back up north. Get phone call they wantthe truck to go to PA and work for the week. Ain't happening as was told to turn the load as someone else was to use the truck as soon as truck was possibley back there. Dah heah stupid you wanted the truck back there asap.3rd day was as bad as the first, call for load 10:00am,no loads going out till after 4 pm. Well time to get breakfast.Yeah right going out the door call ,have a load that needs to leave now.NOT happening. not at terminal;go there only to find a cluster mess at dispatch window and load canceled and no breakfast.Need to change trucks.Truck 2 has no guts, engine brake, lumbar of seat is shot, brakes won't stop truck gotta be real careful !!!! Man wish DOT would do better inspections on this companies trucks!!!!!! Not taking thios truck out till fixed. write up the truck and turn in all papwerwork. Told write up on truck will never happen ,this isn't JB HUNT you know. Thats it,it's time to quit this company and find better. Oh and 4 other driver qit the same night. BAD BAD COMPANY

My god, I could not understand most of that post. Try using English and not CB lingo or slang.

I couldn't agree more. If this person is that hard to understand in person, I can certainly see why people might have a problem. It's really disheartening to see examples of the idiots that are my peers in this profession. I just hope that people like this don't ultimately contribute to this industry's downfall.

From the FMCSA Safer site...
NFI...
2114 vehicle inspections in the last 24 months.
315 OS's..............14.9%
National average....23.14%
NFIL..
138 vehicle inspections in the last 24 months.
18 OS's.................13%
National average.....23.14%
Looks like NFI's equipment is at least as good or better then half of what's on the road today. -
You failed to mention what account you were running.
