Opinion away, sir. I wouldn't put anything out in the open on a public forum if I was afraid of what others had to say about it.

Won't lie, I've been told a couple times by people that know me well that I often undervalue myself.

A younger me was extremely arrogant, and then the fall came after pride. When I picked myself up and dusted myself off, one of the software changes I made was to dial back the hubris a few notches. Every once in awhile I think I dialed it back a bit too much.

As for others.. My issue with my co worker is I absolutely do not see him as an equal.

Well Six, I agree with most of the posts you do, and I especially agree with this one. I like to have a good time, and will BS with the best of them, but when it gets real, it’s real. I have interviewed with 8 outfits in the last 4 days and have walked out of 3 of them — there is probably 1 of them that is a consideration. Listen to all the BS , by the book talking points and they ask if you have questions. I say yes — I will agree to go out and work my nuts off, whatever, whenever and wherever you say — do you agree that you won’t ever lie to me and pay me for what I do??? Most won’t answer directly — and I say F’you, F’you, and F’you— have a nice day — and most of the interviewers are 30 yr old PAB’s (Punk ### B#####s for those of you wondering)

 

I just thought I'd come on here and let y'all know this "driver shortage" is absolutely positively a myth!! I've been all week trying to get back to work and ain't having much luck!! Unless of course I want to work for $.30 a mile or fleece purchase. I think I made one guy mad when I laughed and said " you want me to take on all the responsibility of a truck owner and make before taxes what I made after taxes at my last company?! And get dispatched like a company driver? Have you bumped your head?!"
