    There's some wisdom here.

I had a psychology professor that like to say, "If you are surrounded by jerks, you need to seriously consider whether you are an #######."

Meditate on that. It will make you a better, more professional driver.

When that happens can you leave the truck at the truck stop and take a Uber around to do things in the area if you want a change of scenery?

    D.Tibbitt and MartinFromBC Thank this.

I just got a email from my supervisor saying he thinks things are working out very well with me and he's impressed with my numbers considering how new I am here (it's because this isn't my first rodeo in delivery). I thought that was nice, I don't expect to be thanked for doing my job but I'll take it because my previous driving job you never got that.

If the tank is half full then the def sloshes and aerates more, and the filter will let thru both a rich and low mixture either of which will make the downstream sensors have a fit.

What happened to "no bad students, only bad teachers"? I make sure my guys are ready.

The last 6 winters it has been a problem for me. Last winter I had to use a jug of def.

You asked why guys do a certain thing. I gave you 4 reasons. Didn't say your way/reasoning is wrong, just explained a different way.

    MartinFromBC Thanks this.

Uber is so great, a few buck to go anywhere and they pick you up almost immediately.
I remember waiting 45 minutes for a cab and then paying a fortune to go 10 miles.

Seeing that log truck on its side? There are two reasons. One is they were going too fast when they came around the corner. Or two is because the driver didnt pay attention to the road and drifted off the edge of the road. That road looks like the pavement could be 4 inches higher than the dirt, so the rest was gravity.

DEF is a PITA to fill, no matter how you look at it. I try my best to top off the DEF at the start of the week and not have to deal with it anymore until I get back to the yard.
