This is the creek about 400 feet behind the house with our little foot bridge and lawn chairs etc.
Move the bench and chairs off the bridge to ride the mower to the other side and cut the grass...she loves the yard so she now does all the mowing on the john deere. She plows the house driveway with it as well. She seemed so eager to do yard work i bought her a john deere of her own with a bucket, hoe, mower, and snowblower she can put on or take off. She loves it and its her favorite gift of all. This is the day we went shopping for them and she picked out the one she wanted.dwells40, Cattleman84, Lepton1 and 4 others Thank this. -

I sit down there with some dinner and a beer regularly.
Boomerang drinks from it 8 months a year its not frozen, he has a heated water dish in the winter....he wades right in and drinks. The rocks are a mini dam to keep the pond area of the creek a bit deeper, its great for wading in or as a kids swimming hole. My daughter swam in it all summer every summer growing up.
In the spring when the snow melts it is a raging creek to stay away from. Summer its just a leisurely creek with my pond area about 16 inches deep or so.Cattleman84, Dave_in_AZ and FlaSwampRat Thank this. -

And nothing to kill you lol. When I get home I'll snap some pics of my back yard. I live on a palm lined canal, it's really pretty but you couldn't pay me to go in that water lol. We had a 10' gator walking up on the road a few months ago so I called the fwc so they could move him back into the water since he wasn't causing any problems. The officer told me the only reason he was out of the canal was he got chased out by a bigger one......no thanks lol.dwells40, Cattleman84, tramm01 and 1 other person Thank this.
