Can anyone give me information on NFI? Just wondering if someone has or is currently working for them. They have a terminal 5 minutes from me in Baldwinsville, NY.

Former coworker has worked for them since 2015, seemed to be happy there last time I saw him.

Thanks. Was just curious as I live so close to a terminal. Would be cool to drop truck off after days on the road and only have to drive 5 min home

NFI is local. They're a good starter company to gain experience. They tend to hire new students with no experience and have all kinds of different accounts...from Trader Joes, Bimbo Bakeries, Pep Boys, Walmart, and even USPS Mail contracts.

Benefits are horrible from what I heard. Around $300 per week for single and around $400 + for family. I don't think they have any retirement plan either. You get paid cpm and stop pay or by trip pay and flat rate. Usually average around $1K per week to $1200. Home every night. Trucks are governed around 63 mph and they have driver facing cameras.

Bringing this thread back to life. Had a recruiter come in to class on Saturday. Was the only recruiter to come in and give it to us straight forward. $50k-60k a year. Local jobs available. Health insurance is expensive but so is mine lol. Weekend work available all the time. Mon-fri available. Seriously considering them, simply because they are close to home and offer local jobs.
