Volvo dash will show all active and inactive codes BUT only the ones it's programed to show, if it's not programed to show the tone ring code it's not going to show it

I guess our Volvo's are different, there is not programming to turn on/off what faults are displayed. They are J1587/1708, which gives you a MID, SID/PID and FMI. When it comes to J1939 (which ABS is not), there is an SA, SPN and FMI. Many engines will send both, some only send a limited # of J1587/1708 messages so the dash cannot display them or will only show a generic fault for them. But that doesn't apply in the case, he clearly has a specific J1587 fault displaying on his dash from a J1587 ECU.
The Module Identifier is 136 - Tractor ABS
The System Identifier is 3 - Wheel Speed Sensor, Left Drive Axle
The Failure Mode Indicator is 2 - Data Erratic, Intermittent or Incorrect
This could be as simple as a bad connection, or it could be a wheel falling off, and anything in between. I'd find any shop ASAP that can jack it up and make sure that the bearings are good for piece of mind. If the bearing are good and adjusted right, it's not unsafe to drive, so schedule it to your normal shop that you trust to fix it. I would not trust a TA to start digging into any wiring problems or to try an interpret any other codes that might be in the ABS history. -
I have a 2002 isx cummins . I have an electrical problem , i think, my emgine acts like its losing power or choking, until the abs sensor error comes up ,then it runs again.did anybody had that happen???

Code for WABCO ABS says: Wheel Sensor ABS Axle 3 Left
Is that passenger side or driver side? Which axle is #3? I read somewhere that WABCO counts from the rear. -
3 is rear drive. Start counting axles from front to rear.

Most probably abs extension rubbing and wires are now exposed... That's what I check first. Second, any oil coming out brake dust cover (or black plate whatever you call it). Leaking wheel seal convers the sensor and cannot read wheel speed ring.
Third thing if nothing above seems wrong, jack wheels off ground and check for loose wheel bearing, if loose adjust, if not, take wheels and drum off and start looking at the abs sensor. Sensor can be dammaged by rubbing too much friction agaisnt speed ring or whatever. Can also be too much debris or corrosion on the ring, simply brush it si that the sensor can get a correct reading (magnetic) from the ring.
Hope i was clear enaugh!HopeOverMope Thanks this.
