Made it. 13 hours 49 minutes. They got me a room at a holiday in express so that's all I'm going to be saying tomorrow lol. I took a Uber to the hotel because I'm out of hours but also beat ### tired. Even if I had enough time to bobtail to the hotel I don't think I would have. Tonight I learned to have a lot more respect for you otr guys out there. I only ended up doing 538 miles and it kicked my ###. I have zig zagged all over Florida it feels like and as soon as my clock is good. (2pm) I'm gonna be on my way allllll the way down to Miami, the worst place on Earth to drive or just even be lol.

    Pace yourself.

Remember no dispatchers or people allowed when you are getting rest. It would be safer to enter a bear den during winter.

I spent the better part of the last four years married to my phone. Running for the oil business meant 24/7 need of dispatch.

In the last few months it's been a bit of a shock. There is no night dispatch. I knew on Friday afternoon what I would be hauling Sunday afternoon (or Monday on a normal weekend). I already know what I am hauling on Tuesday. I drive pretty much daylight hours. There's no such thing as a phone call that says I have an hour to get to a customer in the middle of the night.

Yes sir. I just didn't want to drive it anymore lol. Two of the managers at the plant I ended up at offered to give me a ride and drop the truck for me but I just wanted out of it. I was really tired and didn't need to be driving anymore.

What if your windshield is polarized and your glasses are polarized... AND... there's a solar eclipse. Do you enter another dimension in time and space?

I had a minor boating accident.
