Something I will never do is complain about the treatment I get at the scales. They always treat me great. If they want to they can tell me no to leaving today since it is a stat holiday. They could have lowered my maximum speed to less than they did. They could do lots of things, but are actually very lenient with me. First scale of the day they had us stop, two came outside with a tape measure and height stick. They measured us up, looked at the permits, said that is all in order. He walked around the truck looking for lights out or bad tires, she looked at the chains, didn't even check log books for us. Said "well everything looks great, drive safe".

 

they need more truck stops in washington, tacoma area, TA is 30 miles away in north bend. last time i remeber theres like 20 free spots. theres a pilot 30 miles the other way, never been there but i dont do pilot. everything else around here is paid parking

I just cancelled my subscription for the Sunday Evansville Courier.
They couldn’t enter my house number in their system because it’s a new address.

Didn't have a corkscrew so I pounded the cork through with a hammer and butter knife. Had two glasses and decided to put a paper towel in it but that seemed WAY too white trash. The rest is history.
