We occasionally get -30 F at my home 20... Its not an every year thing but not super rare either. Can almost count on -15 F though most years. I work my butt off keeping the house thawed out. Last winter the house froze up while I was on the road... Wife was not happy, she had to fix it herself with me talking her through it over the phone.

 

Never liked it when it was a peelot.
