Bad company stay away you will never own the truck the lease agreement is fraudulent from the beginning it's all one sided your paying for refer fuel on company owned or leased equipment that amounts to wage theft under Oklahoma labor law here's the get rich quick scams the company tells drivers don't include refer receipts with your trip reports why hiding something they advance you refer fuel then deduct it from your settlement check at that point the reimbursement becomes income earned however the company won't report it as income earned because it's hidden under refer fuel which is not taxable MULTI MILLION DOLLAR TAX SCAM IRS allows deductions for various expenses including fuel cost after the company reimburses its self they then claim a tax deduction for fuel that deduction becomes fraudulent after he reimbursed himself the cost of refer fuel THAT COMPANY was fined 10k by Arkansas court for misclassified company drivers as contract drivers the company fled the jurisdiction of Arkansas and settler in Oklahoma to continue the same scam the company has since been reported to the INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE CID FOR TAX FRAUD AND MISCLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES TO AVOID TAXES MY FRIENDS HURRICANE EXPRESS IS COMMING TO A END TIME TO CELEBRATE

Ok if what u are saying is true they would be out of business . these companies running lease purchases scams are not doing anything illegal. U are just mad cuz u figured out u are the sucker. But u should be happy u figured out u are the sucker , so it wont happen again. But if it was illegal this stuff would be abolished years ago , but its no different then loan sharks or similar business that prey on people with little money saved and sell them a dream. Because people that have money dont get sold dreams because they are to busy putting together business plans. Only suckers get aold dreams and thats what the lease purchase is.

And next week he will be signing a lease purchase with another company and when he fails that one, he will be on here ripping them apart and trying to act like an IRS attorney again. Do you guys think that these companies don’t have attorneys that work for them and approve these contracts before they offer them to drivers? This company has several hundred trucks on the road and you obviously have none. I guess they are doing something right.

a lot of these companies are advertising net settlements as take home pay. Anyone with any financial acumen would know that a net business settlement isn't your take home check. You still have to hold out personal/business income taxes, hold out money to grow your business and weather a storm. Most of the advertised “take home” pay are amounts you can earn working for a legitimate business too. There is a reason there is no credit or down payment required, its the buy here pay here to truck ownership for people with bad money management skills and no patience.

And yet every week Hurricane has a new group of suckers that are blinded by the shiny Peterbilts and slick talk. And after a few weeks they become disgruntled like this OP.
I bet this OP has already signed another contract for another fleece purchase with another crappy company. Some people will just never learn.

If only there were multiple threads on this forum warning people to stay away from Hurricane the OP wouldn’t have gotten ripped off.

But that would require research. Who’s got time for that when you’ve already made up your mind?

Eh the recruiter told us that we would be running i15-i40-i44-whatever highway goes up to Huntsville New Jersey every week.
I40 gets boring as hell after 5 minutes so we passed on that.
