I been driving 4 years now, i love the flexibility i have at my current company but since i started i been getting less miles and im kinda sick of being stuck at 68mph when every one else is at 75mph. Which leads me to saying that me being treated that way is a good chance that ITS MY FAULT, because they kept me on the team after 2 falsified log violations ( one on purpose and the other on accident ). I got another 2 years? Before the points points on those go away and honestly i only want to leave because ive had my tanker endoresments the day i got my cdl 4 years ago and i just want to start doing tanker work. Ive always wanted to do tanker work and im sick of the bs that comes with pulling dry vans. I have 0 experience with tanker and i want to learn before the government destroys the industry. Are there any places that'll take me with a bad record? Im out of plainfield jersey

The Industy was destroyed the day deregulation and ICC in the 70's the fallout you are experiencing is the race to the bottom with those in piles of cash staying in business, everyone else kicked by to making fries at minimum wage.

You are going to just have to endure the bad record. However there is one here who will probably help you as he has done many others.

if you are sick of driving at 68 mph's, why would i want to see YOU driving a tanker at 75 mph..???

don't go around thinking that tanker trucks go any faster. many of those too are cut back, due to the dangerous cargo they haul.

68 mph is pretty fast, sounds to me like you are a danger as it is now.....you like speeding...

tell you what, go for an application and ask right up front, "how fast do your trucks go"?

tell them you are sick of 68 mph.

i can almost guarantee you, that you will be shown the exit door..

OK, you're probably ready to go with tankers; put in some applications.
