International 4900 air governor problems

    I have a 2001 International 4900 I just put a new governor on it and still cannot regulate air pressure it has no air dryer on it so no purge valve that I can see

    Ok, doesn't regulate how? Too high, too low...?

    Was constantly too high I just took it out on the road and won't build pressure now past 60 lb

    Unbolt your governor and see what it does. If the original problem returns, then something is wrong the governor you just installed or incorrect plumbing.

    Have you disconnected the other end of line from the unloading valve, disconnected the discharge hose from the compressor, and run it while applying and removing shop air to see how the compressor responds?

    Thank you for your replying ,we only got a couple Internationals in our fleet and my first working on one without a dryer, the learning curve Is never over. Lol
