The old man, lifetime trucker, at my shop has smashed 3 tanks in a month or two. Ive been out networking for my next job, stopped at a reefer shop and found out theyd fired him just before he came to us.. Said if he was younger theyd have whooped him. Wrecked all sorts of stuff and one truck in very short time. Complete trainwreck, doesnt care at all, no remorse or shame. Theyd just put on a brand new bumper hed smashed, and he caught that new one on the owners truck leaving the parking lot. Unreal.

I will take a never drove a truck ever, floor sweeping 18yr old over that guy who cant be changed. I can mold clay, but not that old brick.

Thanks but were fine. I didnt lose a job, i showed up for day 1 of a new job and refused it. The job i had just left wanted me right back so im hauling rock again while looking for the next one. They know and are okay with that. Rock is slow and i cant live long on the wages its paying so theres no hard feelings, he knows im just trying to feed the kids, good guy.

It was his front lawn. and i wanted to see how tight a setback axle turned. Never drove a 12.7 either so there was that. It gave the wife and i some peaceful time to discuss plan B without car salesman interferring.

Btw, semantics at this point.. But i didnt call him a slimebag, if any of you care to reread my first post. That was just a mythical boogieman that every new driver will meet a few of and needs the courage to fend off.

This is a classic alignment or king pin problem, and by the way it has nothing to do with losing a wheel.

    You ever lost a wheelhub?

I have and the tires didnt show one bit. And trust me, there wasnt nearly the warning you think thered be. From the first sensation of wtf was that, to omg bang, was hardly enough time to slow down.

That truck pictured has bad everything in the front beam.
