That 'bandaid liquid glue' works miracles. Not sure exactly what it's called; you could also buy 'butterfly' bandages OTC. I'm always cut up from something and that liquid band aid helps...after peroxide, and neosporin...

 

WTF is it with the ups freight guys on here thinking they are better and make more money than everyone else? I just had to shut one down hard telling him how little he makes since im a retired feeder driver. Well I guess I didn't have to but the guys he probably thinks he's impressing don't know any better.

Hummingbirds know how to rumble.

A few decades ago I went with a friend to the Upper Index Town Wall near Index, WA to do the first ascent of a rock climb. To get to the bottom of our route required roping up and traversing a ledge with an overhang above it for about 150'.

Part way across that dicey traverse I discovered I must have been trespassing on sacred hummingbird territory. Several dozen hummingbirds were dive bombing me, poking at me with their little needle beaks, buzzing within inches of my head, all while I tried to concentrate on not falling and taking a huge pendulum swing across the cliff face.

My partner and I agreed that "easy" traverse was the greatest challenge of the day.

Somehow @tramm01 setting himself up for Hitchcock's "The Birds" on steroids (or alcohol).

I ran a Columbia to 1.7 million. I despise emmision compliance. First time i shut the door on a Cascadia I said "oh wow".

Already there — never had the opportunity to just sit and watch them— started setting out feeders a couple weeks ago and found out that they are the fighten’est, meanest little turds on the block — which prompted me to find out if they mellow out with an adjustment to the diet — they don’t.
