I know it doesn't help, but this is exactly why I hate electronic engines.

I always pull the same trailer, trailer is good, brakes released of course. It's driving me crazy because i changed all these parts and made no difference on the performance of the truck.

Have you tried putting it on a Dyno?

Sure would be nice to get a torque and horsepower reading through out the rpm range.

If it was my truck , I have a 97 international with n-14 and the new injuectors didn't fix it and the scan from Cummins told you nothing I would have coughed up the $500 and ran it on a Dyno next

Another out of the box thought for you. What if they swapped that from a tractor? The ECM settings would be for a stationary unit and would suck for automotive type driving.

You mentioned you had another N-14 close, you might try swapping the ecm and see if it makes a difference. I’ve seen this a handful of times in mechanical engines where the fuel pumps had to be changed over to a different type of Governor to make the engine run right for the application.

Dino soar and BigJoeTX Thank this.

The other N14 is celect plus so the harness is different than mine. We tried different ecm but same results.

Have you checked full pressure when has low power. No intake or exhaust restrictions?

The different ECM was from another truck then? Or did they program a new one based off your old one?
