Don't you understand the principal of the idea.
I know how to pass on cost. I despise them deciding to make a toll road already paid from tax dollars.
I also have a choice where I run.

They are talking dedicated toll truck lanes all over, the Wyoming proposal has just been in the news more lately. It is being studied lots more places than Wyoming.
-
Not to mention, the small towns on on those two lane roads, complaining about increased truck traffic in thier towns.
-
well maybe it will get to the point of an all truck strike across the country to get a point across to these idiot government people wanting to toll roads that shouldnt be,, whoever thought up toll roads in the first place is a complete and udder moron.
-
There's nothing wrong with toll roads if there are choices involved....
But if there's only one way in and out and some government hacks want to charge for the "privilege"...that's B.S.
I don't run the East coast but, isn't that how it's set up with the turnpikes?
You pay, or you don't move right???? -
Aint that kind of like double taxation?
I mean tax money, paid to the federal goobermint, paid to build that chunk of road, now we have to pay to drive on it ? BULLFARTS!!! PHOOEY!!! -
It is getting passed on...right onto my wife when she goes shopping, therefore it is passed onto me...does the phrase "the buck stops here" ring any bells?
I can see a lot more traffic on I-70 over Vail..Denver should love all that traffic! They handle the volume so well now without having the I-80 crowd flowing thru town. -
Good point!
First, our tax dollars are used to construct the highway that we'll be charged to use.
And THEN we pay the increases in product and/or service prices associated with additional shipping costs due to the tolls imposed.
Too many hands in the cookie jar?otherhalftw Thanks this. -
PA has a choice, and Ohio and Indiana, but you might have to route into Michigan. You can bypass the PA turnpike to the south, but I-68 in Maryland is not my idea of a fun ride.
Jersey is about the worst I have been to, but I've never been east of Brooklyn or into the smaller states to the northeast. -
Aw c'mon...68 is funfor the kids..almost a roller coaster..slow one for sure if you're heavy. And nothing east of Brooklyn anyway..only Long Island and it isn't all that bad. But go north, start competing for lane space with some real nimrods down from Canada...those boys run hard and fast, must be some
thing good waiting for them back home!
