Wow!!! Hope things work out. Same thing happened to IBC when they filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2004. They also mentioned everybody's job was safe and it was business as usually. It lasted 5 years. They had offers from Bimbo Bakeries to buy them out in 2007 but they backed out. They came out of bankruptcy in 2009, changed their name to Hostess Brands and went back into bankruptcy for the second time in 2011 before closing their doors in 2012. It got ugly near the end. They had union fighting against union. Management stealing employee payroll kickbacks. Had drivers carrying around guns and weapons to protect themselves from the striking bakers union. It was a complete disaster.

Hope things work out better than it did for IBC

 

hard to tell what's going to happen with Jack what they say and what they do..
same thing with consolidated back in the day.
filing for any kind of chapter can be scary from the unknown.
happen with Allied and lease way way back in the day 2. these immigrant owners clamping at the bit waiting to jump on board and take all the reigns and buy out old Jack
that's how United Road started in Romulus Michigan they bought what was once the Swift Auto carrier division outright from Jerry Moyes. then they bought Pilot car transport the gray and black ones..
by the company like Jack Cooper there's plenty out there we should happen with Wagner's there a shadow of what they used to be course mad bro in St Louis no longer exist neither does d a s or fleet car it seems either... but folded up into some big Goofy company seems to be usxl a new company along with.
cross you got Hansen & Adkins who would possibly buy them up and all their stuff too..
bottom line though bankruptcy reorganization is an easy way to say be on the lookout for something else in case we fold up. how many times did Sears and Kmart reorganize and look what happened to them..
