Just found out I’m heading down to Albany tomorrow. My last load for my current employer. If you get over here let me know, I’ll buy ya lunch.

20190808_145717.jpg I think this company would be hands down the best choice as an otr. They haul goods for The US military.

Man too be honest my supervisor told me his girlfriend has a Jaguar and it’s a waste of money. There are no upgrades in it. You are really paying for the name that’s it. You get petter options in a top of the line Toyota Camry he said. There is nothing unique about the Jaguar. As for the Tesla I don’t know anyone who owns them. They sure do look nice on the road. Even though I can afford it on my salary I would never get one. They don’t hold its value once you drive it off the lot. The resell would be horrible I think. But man I wouldn’t mind renting for a few days lol.

Coming from the Army. That is not a good company to work. Those guys don’t get paid good at all. Those guys work all year long. Schedule is crazy. The military store or as we call them PX or AAFES is open every day of the year. They don’t get paid that much and it’s driver unload. I can’t remember if it’s tailgate or all the way off the trailer. I was looking into the whole transitioning out of the Army. Didn’t seem like good fit for me. Didn’t like the schedule nor the pay. Plus feedback from their drivers wasn’t that good. So I steered clear.

Im surprised that exchange doesnt treat its drivers good. You figure they be treated better since they only haul for the U.S Military. Also thank you for your service.

How long ago did you got out.

Let me see what tomorrow brings. I'm due home tomorrow and the load they have me on puts me in a position to go home but once I'm empty, it's 50/50 whether I will deadhead home or go to Albany then home.

Only if you bring some of that Texas BBQ with ya. I don't know of a good BBQ joint in Albany.
