I'm sure its different in each state but I know in Idaho you can create a legally binding contract on a napkin or a piece of wood, or anything you can write on... As long as both parties sign it and at least 1 witness as well.
Knew a guy in high school that thought he could get out of a deal because it wasnt dobe through an attorney... But it was all legal and a judge held him to it... The key is if each party is authorized to make the agreement.
If the recruiter knows his company policy states X and he promises something that contradicts X then it is th e recruits burden of proof to show the company authorized an exception.

655k on the truck. I asked the boss if the truck ever had a clutch put in, but I couldn't get a straight answer from the co mechanic. My guess is its the factory clutch. They just put one in this twin to this truck.
