I've been digging around on the site a bit, and found this juicy morsel from 'Intheknow'.

In, it's obvious to me you're in the pocket of ol' CRE. What are you over there? Driver manager? Recruiter? Dispatcher? I bet you're not a driver, unless you have to cover runs on one of those weekends when like 10% of your drivers walk away instead of the normal 5% each week. Or are you one of those boys high on the ladder whose last name is 'England', somebody who rarely sets foot in a truck and rarely interacts with the lowly driver?

England is one of the worst companies around. While I lived in SLC, I saw their help-wanted ad in the paper 364 days a year for the 8 years I was there. I'd avoid CRE like the plague if I were going back to driving. A truly good company that has successful O/O drivers doesn't need to advertise.

Tell me....what ever happened to that safety manager who sued you for your letting him go after he told his orientation students they couldn't make money running legal? He lost his case in Salt Lake, no surprise. The England family is made up of high falutin mormons. They'd be HARD to beat in Salt Lake, given the prevalence of mormon judges. He appealed and took his case to Denver. What happened then?

I started with England back in 2004. I went to the school in South Carolina. The accommodations weren’t the best, but the training was decent, My training cost me $2995. That is cheaper then most third party schools out there. If you go there, Try to stick it out at least a year, then go to a better company. England is not a life long career. But it is a decent “get your foot in the door” company. Also check out Roehl Transportation. I’m thinking about getting back to driving again soon and this is the company I'm checking out. This is my 2 cents in. :D

Hey, I bet there is more than one "PLANT" on these sites, really now, do you believe everything you read or hear? OR DO NOT HEAR???

Been common knowledge for quite a while, few folks hitting town with a shpiel, heading around to bars and striking up friendly conversations can increase the bottom line exponentially.

    dudes, clue in, get hep.

ITK is probably a sales dude, nothing more. didn't see that in the tone? really now.

I'm going to look into these cats and if I hear some money, I'll hire on. and post about my experience with them. Got a cousin I could team with possibly, as long as our ears don't get wet while we are told that it is raining.

Oh, by the way, I'm MORMON, does that mean I will get preferencial treatment at a MORMON company...azzole.

Man I had to get my hip boots out after reading this post. Bottom line is if anyone goes into a lease purchase program they are at the mercy of that company to give them enough miles to cover the expenses of the truck and make money for themselves and the companies know this period. These plants are always preaching that if an I/C isn't making money it's their fault. That is total BS. The driver isn't in control of what load he gets. Its the fleet manager who is an employee of the company who gets a salary from the company who assigns loads. Tell me how anyone can get miles when they are assigned a run on Friday of 400 miles to be delivered on Monday afternoon and then be told they can't arrive early because the receiver isn't there on weekends. Its hard enough finding a company that will keep a company driver in miles let along having the worries of "am I going to get enough miles to cover my truck payment, escrow deductions, fuel, OBC usage and other little expenses and still be able to support my family?"

Look in the report a bad company at the top you will see lots of bad bad info on this company. They do not treat their drivers(numbers) very well.
