well, just 2 more loads of glass and i am off for 1 week ( putting some miles on the Harley) before starting ornamentation on 6 july////// no i don't haul for maverick or combine.....the company is good, but the owner of my truck s**ks. I think at JCT, i will like my owner!

JCT left me a message and said they cannot accept my app at this time. I have from June 07 to Dec 08 as experience at Werner. But, I believe I didn't have quite enough for JCT or they were thrown off by my lack of recent experience, as I have not driven a truck since Dec. This whole truck driver thing lacks the same appeal it had when I first started and everything was rosy and great lol.

I guess I will try Werner again, if I beg on my knees maybe they will let me come back.

 

I guess i should have asked her if she plans on running 1 log book or 2. thats 1 difference between stevens and jct. i would hate to see her fail at jct running 2 log books chasing a dream of a $1.00 truck

 

Don't worry they probably did you a favor.Have u seen JCT safety record? these clowns are major #### ups, for real. good luck where ever you go.

 

I agree with you, but people that think their running 100% illegal running paper logs are fooling themselves. All it takes is for you to log 15 minutes off within 30-60 days or more on a fuel stop and you may have done it by accident they will still burn you. You may log 67 mph in a segment not realizing you did it and they'll get you for speeding and claim you shouldn't have been in that exact place at that time.

 

Yeah Prime is top notch. Your bitter because JCT didn't accept your ap. Turns out I know someone who knows you well. Does Walcrawler ring a bell. So stop spouting your hate for a company who wouldn't hire you.

 

very well said vulcan you are 100% correct and if anybody that been out here long enough believes other wise they are fooling themselves...it happens and often so if they want you they gonna get ya

 

at least they told ya before you got to tulsa....anyone know why they sent the guys home last week from orientation that still disturbs me unless drug related....bigben says no.....whats the verdict.

 

it would be nice to know why they were sent home during orientation. with the economy the way it is right now, leaving 1 job for another...... I thought they did all the background checking long before scheduling an orientation date. That was what they told me when they called me every other day for clarification on something or another. It makes you think it is /was drug related....no offense meant to anyone if that is not the case.
