Thank you. I was told today that I was not going to make it here if I insisted on logging legal. I understand that NO ONE is 100% legal, but I drive 11, break for 10, do not go over 14. Apparently by my insisting on this, I am the pick up & delivery guy. 60 miles today, waiting for tomorrow, to deliver the second half of a load that was relayed to me, because I would not drive 1000 miles without a break. Was led to believe this practice was optional, but apparently that is NOT the case. There is a lot of money, & a lot of miles here, as long as you do not need to sleep. I have had multiple loads taken from me, AFTER I spent the time gathering them up, for free I might add, because I don't like the thought of the legal system making an example out of me.

    RightSideSlide Thanks this.

I can and have done it before, but its not anything I care to do on a regular basis. Its way to stressful.

Most I have ever done was 900 miles before stopping to use the rest room. I could not do that every day.

Oh wait I didnt think he meant not stopping I think he meant not tyaking his 10hr brake. I have never driven 1000 miles without stopping, not even close. More like 600.

..and for irocubabe.. if OTR doesn't look so rosey for u now & ur a bit discouraged you're definitely not ready to get into a lease.. I'm surprised JCT hasn't raised the minimum requirement from 2 to 3 years now that there are more experienced drivers available; leasing isn't for everyone & especially the inexperienced ones.. the more experience you have the greater your chances of being successful with the lease JCT offers drivers now..

JCT did u a favor BABE, drive OTR 2 more years & then try a lease if you want your own truck, that is if u still like driving OTR, if u do then i would say uroc!
