If I were one of the 5 in trapped, I wouldn’t want anyone to switch the tracks. If someone trapped me, they got me, my life is forfeited. It’s no longer relevant.

It's because when most people argue against ELDs, they are actually arguing against HOS, therefore their arguments don't hold up.

My problems with ELDs being mandated are outside of HOS. But this ain't the thread for that.

 

The problem with elds is that on paper hos looked like it worked, now that you cant fudge it it shows that they dont work like they thought.
No one to blame but ourselves on that one, I dont agree with it but had we used the paper the legal way then the eld wouldnt be an issue.

That's my theory anyway.

@TripleSix I know you wanna build a rat rod toy hauler, you can find all kinds of fire truck rust free cheap even if you only use cab and frame. You will have the length and avoid the rust battle.

This weeks vehicle I wanna build is a old fire truck/food truck to sell BBQ. The marketing would right its self.

 

I second this idea. I've got a buddy that owns a bbq place and I've tried talking him many times into running a food truck over in Jonesboro but he wouldnt do it.

 

I’ve looked at them and I definitely want to build one.
